Danny Dyer and his wife Joanne Mas might be solid as a rock now but they've certainly been through their difficult patches.
However, despite the couple having separated in the past, they clearly can't stay away from each other for long as they ended up having an affair while they weren't together.
And it was that affair that ended up bringing them back together.
EastEnders actor Danny told The Sunday Times Magazine that due to him and Joanne being so young when they had their daughter Dani, they ended up splitting and seeing other people.
"I can't remember a time when I wasn't a dad. Me and Joanne had Dani when I was 18 and... f**king hell, we were kids!" he said.
They decided to separate when Dani was three years old, but it wasn't long before they decided to give things another go.
"I don't know if Joanne saw how much I missed 'em, but the visits started getting longer and we'd sit down with a cup of tea," Danny said.
"Next minute... we're having an affair. I said: 'F**k this! We're sneaking around like schoolkids. We've got a beautiful girl. Let's give it a go.'"
And giving it a go certainly paid off, as the couple went on to become parents twice more, to 11-year-old daughter Sunnie and five-year-old son Arty.
They then married in September 2016 in a celebrity-packed ceremony.
The Dyer parents are currently celebrating oldest child Dani's recent victory on Love Island with her boyfriend Jack Fincham, although Danny's warned his daughter off settling down too young.
