Snoop Dogg has conquered the worlds of hip-hop, the movies, adult entertainment and plenty more besides, but he's never starred in a stage show... until now.
He's hooked up with Je'Caryous Johnson for a new production based on his life, called Redemption of a Dogg.
Charting the rise of a rapper and his transition to family man, the play will also feature a number of hits from Snoop's back catalogue.
We don't know what songs will be in there for sure, though the publicity promises music from his recent hit gospel album Bible of Love and the video trailer has snippets of more old school tracks.
"A lot of times you see me performing to thousands of people, not knowing that I'm going through so much pain but God knows everything that I'm going through," says Snoop at the top of the clip.
Snoop stars opposite Tamar Braxton (yes, one of the Braxtons and Toni's sister).
"I'm excited to link up with my guy Je'Caryous Johnson on Redemption Of A Dogg the stage play," said Snoop.
"Please believe you've never seen urban theatre like this! With my flavour and his expertise, we're gonna bring the people an unmissable show. I can't wait for everyone out there to see it!"
Je'Caryous added: "I get to work with hip-hop legend Snoop. The thought alone leaves me speechless.
"I am honored and humbled to be able to partner with him and make history with Redemption of a Dogg. "
The play has a limited run in October and November and tickets are available now.
