It's fast becoming convention that inane celebrity photographs are transformed into absurdist memes. Think of Beyoncé ordering food, Keanu Reeves looking sad or Leonardo DiCaprio enjoying a delightful stroll – all innocuous images of stars going about their day, sprung upon by fans and repurposed ad infinitum.
Now, an image of Lady Gaga at a press conference is doing similar rounds.
Gaga's trip to the Venice Film Festival, where she was promoting the big-screen remake of A Star Is Born, has been getting much attention.
The 'Bad Romance' singer made headlines for being the first to tote Hedi Slimane's inaugural Céline bag, refusing an umbrella in the pouring rain wearing feathered Valentino, and looking every inch the Hollywood star in a Jonathan Simkhai resort cocktail dress posing on a Venetian boat.
However, it was her presence at a press conference alongside co-star and director Bradley Cooper that garnered the most attention.
Sitting behind desks in a red room, the pair answered questions about their new film, though their nameplates were slightly distracting.
Reading 'B. Cooper' and 'L. Gaga', many pointed out that 'Lady' is far from a first name. Gaga's real name is, of course, Stefani Germanotta, and Lady is a title if anything.
The image has spawned many a response, which are all hilarious:
Let's see how long this goes on, shall we?
