In an interview that Ariana gave lately, she confirmed that there are literally three variations of the hit track, all with totally different variations of the primary verse (which sure, is the one the place Ariana name-drops all of her exes).

Ariana revealed that in a single model, the primary verse included no names in any respect, and was "simply speaking about what folks say about me", whereas the opposite two had been primarily based on her relationship with Pete Davidson.
