Declan Donnelly has some big news to celebrate – he's become a dad.
The presenter welcomed his first child with wife Ali Astall today (September 1).
The happy news was announced on Twitter, with Dec sharing a sweet photo of his little girl, Isla Elizabeth Anne, holding on to his finger.
"Ali and I are thrilled to announce the arrival of our baby girl, Isla Elizabeth Anne, who was born just after 9 o'clock this morning," he said.
"Mother and daughter both doing well, Dad is head over heels! D x."
Dec, 42, revealed back in March that he and Ali were becoming a family-of-three with a statement on Twitter. Alongside a picture from their wedding day, he wrote: "Just wanted to say thank you for all the lovely messages. The news has sneaked out a little earlier than we had hoped but Ali and I are delighted to be expecting our first child.
"Thanks for all the love, we really appreciate it. D x."
Ali worked as Dec's manager for 10 years before they realised their feelings for each other and started dating in 2014. They married in 2015, with Dec's presenting partner Ant McPartlin acting as best man.
It was recently revealed that This Morning's Holly Willoughby is heading to Australia with the Geordie presenter to fill in for Ant on I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here.
Following a stint in rehab, Ant is taking time away from his TV work to focus on his recovery from alcohol and prescription drugs.
Holly said in a statement: "I couldn't be more excited to have been asked to stand alongside Dec for the next jungle adventure. I love Ant and want to send him my best wishes and support for a continued recovery.
"These are big shoes, not to fill, but just to keep warm for a little bit... Honestly, I'm a huge fan of I'm a Celebrity and actually feel like I've won a competition to go and hang out on my favourite show! When is it a good time to tell Dec I'm scared of everything that moves?!"
Dec added: "I am hugely grateful to Holly for agreeing to accompany me to Australia this year. She was at the top of my list and I'm thrilled she said yes.
"It will be a different kind of series but we will try our best to ensure it is no less fun and eventful for our loyal viewers. I am also pleased to hear Holly is scared of everything. I am almost stupidly excited at the thought of watching her during the eating trials!"
