Diversity star Ashley Banjo shares “terrified” reaction to meeting brother Jordan’s new baby daughter

Diversity have been dancing for the nation ever since storming to victory on Britain's Got Talent in 2009 and so it's only natural that the troupe have grown, with several of the members welcoming new little ones to the Diversity family.

But Ashley Banjo, who performs in and choreographs the group's shows, may have been a little out of his depth when he met his brother Jordan's newborn daughter recently.

Jordan and his partner Naomi Courts welcomed their second child, baby Mayowa 'Mimi' Angel, at the end of July and decided to introduce the baby girl to Ashley.

And Ashley was left holding the baby twice over as he cradled his new niece and his own daughter Rose.

A slightly overwhelmed-looking Ashley had an adorable photo taken of the moment, which he shared on Instagram.

But speaking on Sunday Brunch, he admitted that he'd been nervous, saying: "I was trying to play it cool, but I was terrified. [Holding them] at the same time."

Surely holding two babies is nothing compared to performing back-flips live on stage every night, Ashley?

Ashley appeared on Sunday Brunch with his brother Jordan and their fellow Diversity member Perri Kiely to discuss their new tour Born Ready.

The group certainly aren't ready to slow down, as they revealed: "We didn’t want this tour to feel like it’s been a great 10 years and now full stop. We are looking forward to the next 10 years."

With so many junior members arriving, the group are certainly expanding enough to keep going for another decade...
