Rochelle Humes has been hosting Ninja Warrior UK alongside Ben Shephard and Chris Kamara for the last five years.

The former Saturdays singer has made no secret of how much she loves working alongside them. But despite this, she wouldn't be keen on joining Ben – or his breakfast show colleagues such as Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid – to host Good Morning Britain.

"It's very early, that one," she said, speaking to exclusively to RecordsOnRepeat. "And [Ben's] very good."

Comparing how Ninja Warrior UK works compared to the live hosting they are used to on GMB and This Morning, Ben said: "It's not relaxed.

"Ironically I think doing This Morning or GMB is more laid-back because this is so intense, there’s so much on the line, there's nearly 20 cameras, 2,000 people in the crowd. It's the one chance for these Ninjas to get on stage."

Rochelle added: "You can't do that again. You can't go back and pick it back up because you get one chance and although it's not live, it feels very live for us."

The trio also discussed what they enjoyed about working together across the series.

"I couldn't imagine doing it without any of them," Rochelle said. "We're so close, it's such a nice family unit. It's a big holiday every year."

"We've watched Rochelle become a mum twice which is really, really special," Ben continued. "My boys have grown up, we've watched Kammy become a grandfather and marvel at the fact he can still get a job."

Ninja Warrior UK returns this Saturday, April 13 at 6.30pm on ITV.
